I can't sell LOTR related drawings for copyright reasons but I really missed working on them so I just had to make new ones. I chose Bilbo first because I love "The Hobbit" and recently rediscovered it listening to an audio book version of it (great way to improve your English when you speak it as a second language ;) ) and also because it was a very interesting exercise to practice drawing of hands.

In my DevArt gallery, you can also see Frodo and the Witch King but you can find more LOTR artworks at my website

Beautifully done :)

I'm a massive LOTR fan and I think you've captured the expression of this moment perfectly.

Awesome job

I love this! His hair is so detailed and so realisticly done, and his face is so spot on! His hands are also really well done, and what I like the most about this drawing must be his eyebrows and eyes, they just catch my attention right away:aww:

This looks wonderful!

Absolutely gorgeous, my lady!:heart::clap: I'm still totally captivated by the hands: utterly perfect in perspective and form, beautifully coherent with the rest of the piece. The creases and wrinkles are superbly handled, and the light in his hair and on his fingers...luscious! **sigh** We almost never see Bilbo, where the entire thing began--beautiful choice, beautiful interpretation! Instant :+fav:, as promised!

BRILLIANT! I knew the finished product would be awesome, and I was right. This is amazing, definitely one of my favourites on dA. You've done a brilliant job, and the detail is excellent.

Work to be proud of :)
