Original artwork made from a personal picture taken in Barritz (South of France)

I had already drawn a seascape using graphite on bristol paper (see thumbnail below) and wanted to give it a try with color pencils. I first wanted to work on bristol paper in order to use the extra white of the paper for the highlights but I wasn't satisfied with the way the colors were blending on it so I started again using watercolor hot pressed paper (my usual paper of choice)
